Thant sounds about right to be honest. You might find it cheaper if you hunt around and find a nationwide, online solicitor such as.
I have no idea what this firm are like, but there are loads out there if you google online conveyancing, or similar.
Expect to pay a bit more if the property you are selling is leasehold.
If you are also buying a new place, use the same solicitor, even it is a bit later down the line and they may give you a discount.
