It’s about us, not government, Right?

Estate Agent slow
The media is whining about an economy that continues to grow, although not as fast as we prefer, it’s still a good economy overall. In my circle of friends, here’s what’s going on.
#1 Real Estate Agent-Had to take a job elsewhere, but he’s a hard worker and will be fine.
#2 Works at ELoan-Accepted a pay cut and will work hard and probably end up where he was within 2-4yrs.
#3 Financial Consultant-Business is great
#4 Steelworker in a Union-Business is great
#5 Photographer-Business is great
#6 Mechanic-Business slow right now but cut costs where his shop could and thinks he’ll be fine.
#7 Title Rep.-This is the only friend that is struggling. I think I know why. She was one of those reps who’s job was to wine and dine Agents so they would use her title company. Now that she’s laid off, she has just been partying and collecting unemployment. She heard the government may extend her benefits so she sees no reason to look for another job yet.

I do not agree with you at all, but then again I am from Michigan, where the recession or should I say depression has been for a long while now. The economy IS NOT good in any shape or form. It is just a matter of time before what we have here in Michigan trickles through the entire U.S.A. Sorry folks, it is the Government’s fault. Pay attention when you vote this election, please.

I don’t think we’ve seen the bottom of this yet. But nothing wrong with a little optimism.

Just like your namesake, you apparently create reality to suit you. Don’t you know that the economy is in the toilet and a MAJOR recession is damn near inevitable?!

Today the Fed just dumped the interest rate another chunk! There is NO FAITH in the U.S. dollar anywhere in the world; more and more are becoming “lower class” that were middle; housing starts are breaking records; people are working 2-3 jobs JUST TO GET BY; and on…and on…and…

Turn off Limbaugh, Limbaugh and try some FACTS!!! A stretch I know, but give it a shot….

Unemployment checks aren’t really enough to ‘party on.’ Actually fairly difficult to make ends meet in regards to, you know, subsistence.
