I want to become a real estate agent?

Estate Agent slow
Im 18 years old. I was planning to work in real estate in order to save for a home. But I live in California and I’ve heard the business is very slow. I don’t know if it’s worth it to get my license. What should I do? Im going to college to get my bachelors in psychology. I only wanted to work in real estate while I went to school in order to buy a house. But I dont know what to do now.

    Girl go for your dreams. The market will pick back up. In the mean time get licensed and do an internship. So when it does pick back up you will be ready to go

    I work in real estate in California also. The market could be better and many agents who aren’t willing to work drop out of the field, but if you are a self starter and love to help people, you might do well in real estate. Go head and do it. It never hurts to try and it could turn out to be something you love doing.
