    No, housing benefit is only paid to people who are not related to the landlord. Family are suppose to look out for each other, if your family member is in desperate need for accomodation it is up to his family to help him out, If they aren’t in desperate need then they can stay living where there living until they can afford there own rent!

    Yes, they can, though the actual relationship may impact on the councils decision. A child of the householder may not attract a housing benefit award whereas an adult sibling might well do!

    No the cannot claim housing benefit if they are related to you. It has been so for many years

    no. this was scrapped as this loop hole allowed many large pakistani families to claim benefits not really needed.
