I filed it last year but we did not get $7500 cash it was just a credit towards what we made to help us get back more.
My refund was put on freeze. I am due the 1st time buyer credit and EIC. They say the return is under review but no one knows who is reviewing it or why. On Monday I will have more information per the advocate I requested. I will keep everyone posted. I will tell you that they have a department called the Questionable Refund Program that uses certain criteria to determine if a return should be review for example a large refund and little income. The system has caused issues in the past lets just hope its not now. The government chose to give the 1st time buyer credit now they need to be equipped to handle it without making us suffer.
