You don’t have to employ a professional, you can certainly do your own conveyancing.

Just make sure you’re fully genned up!

With regards to doing your own conveyancing then yes you can. However, do you know what a restrictive covenant is???? Or would you know if the property your buying has full title guarantee or not?? If not then best to at least contact some one who can give you very cheap quotes from 100′s of conveyancers who will take care of it for you. The price of the conveyancing will depend on your purchase price. IE will you have to pay stamp duty?? You will if you are purchasing your new home for more than £125,000. email me if you would like some quotes for this

I don’t know if you HAVE to have one. But if you do £600-£700 is very expensive. We usually pay £350. Look for a better deal! (Except if you’re in London, but then everything’s more expensive there )

Do things properly the costs can be added into your mortgage!
