can i claim housing benefit if living with my mum?

hi my partner has just left me and i am thinking of going to live with my mum with my little boy. i am claiming income support and tax creds but i wont be able afford to give my mum rent, could i claim housing benefit as she rents her house and works full time. abuse will be reported

no you can not. The only way you can do so is if you are helping to pay the expenses and it has to be at least half.
No & what parent would charge a child rent any how you could however pay a little for your keep like I did when I lived @ home with my parent .
