Hi, Im buying my house, doing the conveyancing myself..Rules and regulation state that i must get a confirmation that i am not a bankrupt, or have never been bankrupt… Have looked on the internet but unable to make much sense of the websites …. This must surly be a straight forward bit of information….Somebody point me to the right place,, This is the last piece of the jigsaw in the conveyancing of a property….I must say i have never heard of so much form filling when purchasing a property, i can see them applying it to Tents befor long.. I would think that if you phone the Official Receiver at your local Bankruptcy Court you would be able to get the answer. If it’s not them who certifies, they should know who does.
I would visit They have a lot of good information on bankruptcy questions.
